     We carry most all of the standard premium brands of dog and cat food. We also carry some of the newer and less advertised brands. We've reserched and tested some of these brands in house and have been very impressed with their performance. The emphasis on "all natural,"  "grain free,"  no "by-products" seem to be the choice of many today. People should be more concerned with what we eat and what we feed our four-legged family members.

     Here are the definitions of two of the most commonly seen ingredients tested in most brands. Don't they sound yummy!

By-Products-  By-Products consist of any parts of the animal OTHER than meat, such as heads, feet, necks, undeveloped eggs, intestines, blood, hair/feathers, bones etc. The ingredients in each batch can vary drastically so the nutritional value is not consistent.

Corn- Corn, as one of the primary ingredients in the food, is a low quality grain and cheap filler. Corn is a problematic grain that is difficult to digest which can cause yeast infections and allergic reactions, such as hot spots, excessive licking, itching, and ear infections.

     In the near future we plan to offer a free seminar on pet nutrition by a qualified nutritionist. We are constantly reserching new foods and the newer advances in nutrition for the betterment of our pets health. The newest one that we're working with is Nature's Variety.
